Applications:* Designed for finishing of steels and exotics.
* For peripheral milling, ramping, and helical interpolation.
* High pressure coolant, flood, mist, or dry milling with air blast is recommended.
Coatings:* TiCN (H1) is a general purpose coating for ferrous materials.
* AlTiN (H3) for harder and more abrasive materials (recommended)

GOAL* Achieve the highest rates of material removal
* Efficiently machine large, monolithic parts with multiple cavities and thin walls
Use high-speed/high-velocity machining process
REQUIREMENTS* High RPM/high feed rate capable CNC machining center
APPROACH* Machine at highest available RPM
* Machine at high feed rates
* Take axial cuts up to 20% of tools diameter
* Take radial cuts up to full diameter of the tool
* Leave at least 5% of tool diameter for the finish pass
* This 5% will change depending on the thickness of the wall, feed rates, and desired finishes Machine in a waterfall-like manner (as shown in the example below)
