BETADINE Solution Swabsticks are convenient, disposable, flexible rayon-tipped swabsticks, impregnated with 10% povidone-iodine solution. They are indicated whenever a topical microbicide is applied most conveniently with a swabstick.
Povidone-iodine, 10% - equal to 1% available iodine
citric acid, dibasic sodium phosphate, glycerin, nonoxynol-9, purified water
* for preparation of the skin prior to surgery n helps reduce bacteria that can potentially cause skin infection
* if you are sensitive to iodine or other product ingredients
* prolonged exposure may cause irritation or, rarely, severe skin reactions
* in rare instances of local irritation or sensitivity
* if irritation and redness develop and continue for more than 72 hours
