We used to peel potatoes by hand until we discovered the automatic potato peeler. This peeler reduced prep time and saves wear and tear on employee hands and wrists. We closed the restaurant and no longer have a need for this. It works perfect.
I had an employee think the rough part on the disc was residue and needed to be scraped off. As you can see in the picture, there are parts of the texture on the disc that are missing. It does not affect the peeler's ability to peel. That is the reason it was never replaced, because it still worked as it was supposed to. I want to make sure to describe the peeler as accurately as possible to avoid any miscommunication.
