KIRBY LESTER PILL COUNTING Machine
Counts all tablets and capsule, any shape or size*.
This machine is used, but in premium condition . . . The Tray drawer shows very little wear at the edges where the tray is inserted each time the machine is used to perform a count . . . The cone splitter still has the peak in a well defined sharp point . .These are indications of the amount of use.
The exposed plastic parts show a very even light color toning . . . (The plastic parts on Kirby Lester machines are under flourescent lights most of their lives and so a constant slow color toning is taking place. ).Top Funnel is NEW.
This Machine Has the Visi-View Power Board Cover and the regular electrical plug has been replaced with a Hospital Required Plug.
This is an Extra Fine example of a Later Manufactured KL-X . . . The Serial number is etched on the Kirby Lester plaque on the back of the machine . .
It has been Tested . . . All Electronic Gates working and it exhibits the full accuracy that a KL-X is capable of. (99.97%) . .
This type of Kirby Lester machine is very accurate when kept clean.

Metal cabinet is Powder Coated light Grey,

These machines were built to give the greatest accuracy possible, (even better than hand counting on a tray), day in and day out, hour after hour of continuous use, for years and years . . .
NOTE: There are no major flaws to the exterior of the Cabinet (Please see pictures). Only light useage is evident.
These precision counting machines, are for use in a licensed Pharmacy or Vitamin Filling Operation and can only be sold for such. Proof of legitimate ligitimate use is required.

I have used KIRBY LESTER counting machines in the practice of Pharmacy starting with my first KL-7 in my Pharmacy in 1972, Then 11 years in a mail-order setting, keeping KL-8s, KL-8plus, and KL-X, operational, fixing broken ones, and replacing parts and for the last 12 years as a relief pharmacist using a KL-X machine each day to achieve daily prescription volume. . .
Until they were replaced by newer models and no longer available, KIRBY LESTER Listed the KL-7 at a Retail of $895
The KL-8 was $1395 and the KL-8 plus was $1595.
