Chassis power supply filters replaced, Power supply regulator card electrolytic capacitors replaced, power supplies checked and adjusted as necessary. Missing, corroded and damaged hardware replaced. Signal lamp and holder assembly replaced, Isotemp 3mhz high quality oven and new +15VDC regulator installed in place of original somewhat problematic time base oven. New oven tested. "Oven" lamp is "on" when unit is connected to 115V AC line and powered on, but does not reflect time base oven status. Unit cleaned. All digit, decimal ,RH MHZ lamp and "LOCK" lamps replaced with bright white LED's. IEC AC connector installed, AC cord set furnished as part of sale. New carry handle installed. Speaker quick disconnect cable assembly replaced. RF Output Connector replaced. VCO switch cleaned. All plug in PC card connectors cleaned. Outer cover attach hardware replaced, covers not re-painted. Bottom panel equipped with a "wire bail" type wide foot that allows the unit to be "tilted" for easier viewing. Bottom rubber feet replaced. Interior of unit cleaned. I khz and IF panel connectors replaced. Unit checked on VHF and UHF with applicable traceivers for Receive and Transmit function. 303 plug in set to trip squelch @ approximately -44dbm.
These Cushman Monitors are oldies but goodies. With the updated time base oven they are great for use in the ham shop, for repeater installation and maintainance and in small two way repair shops. Dial lamps are lifetime LED assemblies, so you won't need to replace them.
