These Gondola Shelving Units Are Perfect For Displaying Shoes, Clothes, or Many Different Types of Merchandise .
Gondola shelving units are manufactured with heavy duty steel components and are free standing with two sides which means merchandise can be displayed on both sides.
These store shelving fixtures were only utilized One Time for filming a television commercial for Target department store featuring the shoe department.
These Shelf/Shoe/Merchandise Gondola Display Fixtures are very versatile; you do not need any tools to assemble them, they set up very quickly, and can be set up in many configurations:
There is a total of eight (8) gondola shelving fixtures that can be set up in many different types of configuration such as an independent stand-alone units, or connecting just a few displays fixtures together, or by connecting all of the gondola fixtures together in a straight line.
Each wood grain melamine shelf can either be positioned horizontally towards the floor, angled towards the floor, or a combination of horizontal and angled shelving on the same display fixture.
You can assemble each gondola shelving fixture with just the wood grain melamine shelves, or just the steel wire merchandise baskets, or a combination of the wood grain melamine shelf s and the steel wire merchandise basket shelves, or a combination of the wood grain melamine shelf s and the steel wire merchandise basket shelves and also the 1/2 inch merchandising hooks for displaying additional merchandise which includes independent pricing for each item.
You can choose to install the steel & matching wood grain melamine end cap merchandise panels on one or both sides of a gondola shelving fixture or not install it.
You can choose whether or not to install the matching middle wood grain melamine insert panel which visually separates both sides of the same gondola shelving fixture, or leave it removed to obtain a clear view of merchandise on both sides of the gondola store fixture.
If your floors are not level you can adjust the floor leveling bolts on each leg of the shelf fixture to keep the shelf fixture level.
Or you can remove the floor leveling bolts and replace them with casters so the display fixtures can be rolled to a new position in your store. Casters are not included in your purchase.

Wood Grain Melamine Shelf Finish Appearance and Construction:
The finish of the wood grain melamine shelf insert is a combination of a light blonde, elm, and maple color.
If you would prefer a different color of wood grain melamine it is very easy to remove the 3 screws that attach the wood grain melamine shelf insert to the steel shelf frame that surrounds the wood grain melamine shelf insert, then remove the wood grain melamine shelf insert and replace it with a shelf color of your choice, then tightened the 3 screws .
The front of the steel shelf frame (the nose) is curved and has a small horizontal channel where merchandise pricing can slide into, or you can slide in a clear plastic price channel, or you can just attach merchandise pricing to the front of the steel nose. The steel shelf frame is designed to support the weight of a lot of merchandise.
The shelf brackets for the wood grain melamine shelving allow you to place the shelves in a horizontal position, or the front nose of the shelf can be angled towards the floor.
The shelf brackets are welded to the shelf frame so setting up the shelves in a position of your choice is a quick process.
Wood Grain Melamine Shelf Dimensions:
There are two sizes of the wood grain melamine shelves:
The long wood grain melamine shelf is designed to be installed between two upright/stands. The length of the shelf including the steel shelf frame is 48 inches. The depth is 13.5 inches not including the steel nose. It is 15 inches including the steel nose. The thickness of the wood grain melamine insert is 5/8 of an inch. We are also including a qty of clear plastic price channels for the steel nose which measures 1.25 inches x 47.5 inches.
The short wood grain melamine shelf is designed to be installed on the wood grain melamine end cap panels. The length of the wood grain melamine shelf including the steel shelf frame is 30 inches. The depth is 13.5 inches not including the steel nose. It is 15 inches including the steel nose. The thickness of the wood grain melamine insert is 5/8.
Steel & Matching Wood Grain Melamine End Cap Merchandise Panel Finish Appearance and Dimensions:
The wood grain melamine end cap merchandise panel is for the small wood grain melamine shelves and is installed on the end of the upright/stands as an option.
The finish of the wood grain melamine end cap panel is a combination of a light blonde, elm, maple color and the finish color of the steel appears to be a very light gun metal gray color.
The height of the end cap panel is 58.75 inches. The width is 31.5 inches.
The end cap panel is installed after a display fixture is assembled. To install the end cap panel you just lift it a few inches off the ground, line up the end cap panel connecting stubs with the holes in the upright/stand, line up two mounting brackets on the bottom of the end cap panel with the upright/stand base legs, then lower the end cap panel towards the floor.
Steel Wire Merchandise Basket Shelves, Basket Dividers, And Clear Plastic Pricing Channels:
The finish color of the steel wire merchandise baskets appears to be a light gun metal gray color and closely matches the finish color of the steel fixture components.
The steel wire merchandise baskets are designed to be installed between two upright/stands (t-frames) and installed in the shelf holes of the upright/stands (t-frames).
The length of the steel wire merchandise basket is 47 5/8. The interior depth of the basket is 12.75. The rear height of the interior of the basket is 5.75. The front height of the interior of the basket is 4 inch.
We are also including steel wire basket dividers:
You can use the dividers to separate merchandise in the same steel wire merchandise baskets. The dividers can be placed at the ends of a basket or anywhere in between. The dividers are easy to install and remove.
We are also including two sizes of clear plastic pricing channels. The first size is 3.25 inches x 47.5 inches. The second one is 1.25 x 46 3/8.
Matching Wood Grain Melamine Middle Panel Inserts:
There is a wood grain melamine middle panel insert matching the finish color of the wood grain melamine shelves. The wood grain melamine middle panel insert visually separates both half s of the shelving fixture. The middle panel insert is an option; you do not have to utilize it if you would prefer an unobstructed view of merchandise on both sides of the shelf fixture. Measurements are 46 and 13/16th x 53 and 1/8th.
Horizontal Price Hook Merchandising Bars:
The horizontal price hook merchandising bar is designed to support the 9 hanging merchandise price hooks and installed between two upright/stands (t-frames). The length of the horizontal price hook bars are 48 inches and is installed in the shelf holes in the upright/stands (t-frames).
9 Hanging Merchandise Price Hooks:
The 9 hooks are designed for hanging merchandise Items and display pricing for the individual item. They are installed on the horizontal price hook merchandising bars.
Steel Upright/Stands (t-frames):
The height of the upright/stands (t-frames)are approximately 59 inches. The height varies due to a height adjustment bolt with a plastic pad connected on the legs of the upright/stands (t-frames)which are designed to protect finished flooring and also even out uneven floors.
The width of the upright/stands (t-frames)legs from end-to-end is 30 and 7/8th of an inch.
If you do not want to connect the shelving fixtures to each other in a straight line, then two upright/stands (t-frames)are required per each independent shelf fixture.
This means you need a total of 16 upright/stands (t-frames)that would yield a total of 8 independent shelving fixtures, and 1 upright/stand would be left over.
Or if you would just prefer to connect 2 shelving units together in a straight line, you would only need 3 upright/stands (t-frames)because the middle upright/stand (t-frame)will support both shelving fixtures to the left and the right of the middle upright/stand (t-frame).
Each time you connect a shelving fixture to another shelving fixture you subtract 1 upright/stand (t-frame)per each shelving fixture you connect to.
The shelf bracket holes are spaced 3/8 of an inch apart and the same holes are utilized for each side of the shelving fixture just in case you want the shelves to be at the same height on both sides of the shelf fixture.
The upright/stands (t-frames) are constructed of heavy duty gauged steel. The front of the upright/stand (t-frames)with the shelf bracket holes is 1 inch thick and the side of the upright/stand (t-frame)is 2 inches thick.
On the bottom of each upright/stand (t-frame) there is a bolt with a small plastic pad that is designed to protect finished floors from being scratched, and to accommodate uneven floors so the display fixture remains level.
If you want the display fixture to roll then you just have to unscrew the bolt with the plastic pad and screw in a caster/wheel which has the same size bolt as the original bolt. Castor's are Not included in your purchase.
Steel Top and Bottom Horizontal Connecting Rails (spanners):
If you are planning to connect 2 shelving displays together, you would need 3 upright/stands (t-frames), and 4 top and bottom horizontal connecting rails (spanners).
The steel toe kicks are installed at the base of upright/stands (t-frames) as an option.
Note: When the commercial film crew disassembled the shelving they were very careful with all of the wood grain melamine components so the wood grain melamine finish would not be scratched and we believe 97% of the wood grain melamine components are not scratched.
Unfortunately when the film crew disassembled the shelving fixtures they did not box the shelving components. Most of the steel toe-kicks have scratches in the painted finish. We have a total of 28 toe kicks, when you pick up the fixtures you are more than welcome to sort through the 28 and select the best ones. The toe-kicks do not have to be installed. The entire shelf display unit remains solid and stable without utilizing the toe-kicks. We believe the toe-kick were designed only for aesthetic appearances.
The remainder of the metal components used to assemble each shelving unit either do not have any scratches in the painted finish, or there might be a few very faint scratches but when a shelving unit is completely assembled and contains merchandise the scratches probally won't be visible.
We did our best to measure each componant as accurately as possible, please consider measurements as an approximation.
