Heathkit alc bridge model ib-5281
This was, also, my Dad's. Since Mom and I do not know anything about this, I must rely on the pictures to show you. We know that you folks (engineers and hams - like Dad was) will. It says "HEATHKIT ALC BRIDGE MODEL IB-5281". In the bottom left of the front it has a red and a black female plugs, labeled "Zs". On the bottom right it has 2 more plug-ins just like that, but labeled "Zx". The "RANGE" knob can be adjusted to (from left, clockwise, to right) "Zs, RX1,RX100,RX 10K, LX 1 uH, LX .1 mH, LX .01 H, CX 1pF, CX .0001 uF, and CX .01 uF". On the larger dial, the outside ring "A", from left, clockwise to right, is from 10 to 1000. The next ring in "B" goes from the top center in BOTH directions, from 0 to 10.There are 6 different formulas written inside the inside ring. The top at the back of this gadget opens - it looks like you can store cords in it. On the back, there is a black switch and a male white 3-pronged plug-in, these are labeled "LINE" and "BATT".
