Condition is Very Good to Excellent. Please see our description and photos below.
* Julien Friez Belfort Observatory patented and listed in Friez' catalog in 1893.
* Two catalog reprints included, includes instructions, courtesy Smithsonian Institute.
* Includes original wood and glass cover. The glass is antique with waves in parts of it. The stand is iron and has beautiful original paint in very good to excellent condition for its age.
* Springs on the clock are tight and the clock runs for awhile and stops.
* Not tested with batteries but instructions are included to setup this register to observe your gages such as an anemometer to calculate wind speed, rain and snow gauges, solar gage, etc.
Measures about 15 1/2" inches wide by 13 1/2" inches deep and with the glass cover on about 8" inches tall. Weighs approximately 29 Lbs and will be heavier securely packed for safe arrival.
