This water pumping mill was designed to pump from 125ft for maximum life and efficiency. Though it can be internally modified to pump from 160ft the pumping capacity is reduced by 30%. Anyone telling you this 6ft mill can pump from 180ft or deeper is misrepresenting its capabilities as an 8ft mill should be used for such a need. Beware of such claims as the factory warranty will be void if maximum set up recommendations are exceeded by you or your installer.
